A very tasty marbled purple stripe garlic. Stores well and is one of the first to emerge in the spring.

CHESNOK RED
Also known as Shvelisi. Very consistent performing purple stripe. 8 to 10 cloves that hold their shape and flavor well when cooked. A SunFresh favorite.
CHET’S ITALIAN RED
Variety selected by Chet Stevenson in an abandoned garden site in Tonasket, Washington in the 1960s. Softneck with 10-20 cloves. Does fair in Minnesota winters, but needs mulch. Wonderful braiding garlic with mild flavor.
GEORGIAN CRYSTAL
Beautiful porcelain with large white bulbs. Mild with full garlic flavor. Stores good.

Porcelain with strong raw taste and a nice hotness about it. Salsa and pesto favorite.

GERMAN EXTRA HARDY
Large porcelain garlic with 4-8 cloves. Very tall with good plant health. A favorite to roast because of its large size. Good garlic intensity. This one can handle Minnesota winters as good as any.
INCHELIUM RED
Softneck that has won many taste tests. One of the few softnecks that does well in Minnesota. Can have bulbs in excess of 3 inches.
KRASNODAR RED
Russian in origin. Large, healthy hardneck that has a complex garlic flavor. Huge bulbs with brownish red hue.
MUSIC
Large porcelain variety with 4-8 cloves. An outstanding garlic in the field. One of the most popular to grow in Minnesota. Wonderful, bold flavor when raw and retained well when cooked.
RUSSIAN GIANT
Large marbled purple stripe variety that is remarkably mild yet full-flavored. Easy to peel with 4-8 large cloves.

Beautiful marbled purple stripe that was originally secured by fisherman trading leafy vegetables for root crops. 5-7 dark brown, spicy cloves.

A unique hardneck of the rocambole variety. Light to dark brown cloves with 6-13 cloves per head. Easy to peel. May have double cloves in a mild growing season.
